Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles, the thickness of a human hair, into the body. It is usually painless. Once the needles are inserted, the client relaxes for around twenty minutes while the needles stimulate the body's own natural self-healing mechanisms. Most people feel a sense of calm and wellbeing following treatment.
Auriculotherapy is performed on the ear using either tiny, fine needles or small golden seeds which are gently taped into place. Needles are kept in the ear for about twenty minutes; clients may choose to keep ear seeds on their ears for a few days after application as a continuation of the treatment.

Standard treatments cost £48 - £50.
Facial revitalisation treatments take longer and cost £70.

I can make home visits for those who are unable to travel to a clinic due to problems with mobility, in which case there may be an extra charge for travel.
Five Spirits Acupuncture and Auriculotherapy is roughly 7 miles from Kirkcudbright and Gatehouse of Fleet, 16 miles from Castle Douglas and 19 miles from Newton Stewart. There is a lovely view of the sea from the clinic.
